What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi!! I have recently had unprotected sexual intercourse with a man with 7 previous partners. I am on the pill so I don’t think I’m pregnant, but I am worried about STI’s. I experienced lower abdominal pain during and after a soccer game along with gas, they went away after I took ibeprphen. I have vaginal discomfort though.

Hello,

If you had unprotected sex, need to think of Sexually transmitted Infection STI or else we can think of Urinary Tract Infection, simple antibiotics will help you. Can be a yeast infection, antifungal will help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
