What Causes Pain In The Knees?

My knee got suddenly painful. Its fine when I am sitting but I find it extremely sore when I try to walk. When I straighten out my foot I cannot bring it up in line with the other foot Is this a flair up of inflamination or is it a cartilage problem ?

hi. look if u had any fall r trauma. there can be a ligament starting r tear. get an MRI done. it I'll tell the problem. after that meet an Ortho doc. thank u
