What Causes Pain In The Knees While Running And Walking?

Hi, whenever i start softball, or exercising, the medial aspect of my knee like right where the patella starts to divot down into the flat aspect of the knee.Im not sure whether this is my MCL or what but whenever i run it starts to hurt and affects my running and walking gait. Sometimes it usually throbs and hurts bad.

Hello,

It could be a minor ligament sprain.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

You can also apply ice packs.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
