What Causes Pain In The Hip And Knee After An Achilles Tendon Injury?
Hello My question to is about hip and knee pain almost constant after Achilles tendon injury. I had surgical repair 12 years ago. The area was struck by metal ,seen by ortho who thinks is tendinitis I completed physical therapy- however the left leg it is not the same. I experience pain at Achilles area, the calf area feels tight, and know the knee and hip pain of same side almost constant burning type - I am 58 yr old Thank You!
I would recommend you to massage your back of leg and thigh with a tennis ball. This will help improve blood circulation in that area and also will relax the muscles in addition to removing some muscle fiber adhesion's that form after an injury.
Regards, Rohin Kaul
