Hi my head hurts all the way around, into my jaw on both sides, and into both sides of my neck. it was a sudden onset but has lasted at least a few hours with increasing pain my head feels heavy and hurts when I try to hold it up the most. Do you know what this could be or if there s anything I can take for it ?Also I might be pregnant I ve had three positive tests 2 faint positives and one darker but the last one I took was negative , have yet to go to the doctor so I m being cautious in what I take till i can get an aappointment. Hi,
Thanks for your question.

I do understand your pain and discomfort.

As per your clinical history is concerned may I ask you some questions to confirm my clinical diagnosis, they are as follows :-

1)Do you feel pain on both sides of your head?

2)Do you feel pain that has a pulsating throbbing quality?

3)Do you feel sensitivity to light, sound and smell?

4)Do you have nausea and vomiting history?

5)Do you feel blurred vision?

6)Do you feel lightheadness?

These are clinical signs of migraine, check if you have at least two signs present or not.

Migraine progresses through four stages like proforma, aura, headache, and postdrome but all persons may not face all stages, it varies from person to person only. So I request you to do one MRI scan if you face all symptoms described by me.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.

Wishing you all the best.

Thanks

Dr U N Sahoo
