What Causes Pain In The Feet After A Surgery For Morton S Neuroma?

I had surgery to repair a Morton s Neuroma on the 17th. Now, I have pain in the top of my foot when I move from a prone to a standing position. The pain subsides after several seconds, but it returns occasionally when I am standing or sitting. It does not exist if I am prone. I have had blood clots in the past. Saw my podiatrist today and although he didn t know what it was, he seemed confident that it wasn t a blood clot. Thoughts?

Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
