What Causes Pain In The Elbows And Shoulders While On Eliquis?

Hi, I am a 52 year old male living in Anchorage, Alaska, and I have some questions about the drug Eliquis. I was on testosterone replacement therapy (for low T) for about three months, and ended up with a dvt in my right, lower leg (popliteal vein). I was prescribed Eliquis (apixaban-5mg, 1 tablet twice daily). After a few weeks, I started to notice that my elbows, shoulders, wrists and knees began to ache within an hour of taking each dose. I looked at the side effects listed on the literature that accompanied the prescription and I do not remember muscle soreness and joint aches being listed. I am normally active and do resistance exercises and I walk every day. I am not taking any other meds other than latanoprost eye drops for high interocular pressure in my eyes, and occasionally I take Maxalt for migraine headaches. Can the Eliquis be causing the aches and pains in my joints? The soreness seems to come within an hour of when I take the Eliquis. My doctors seemed perplexed as to whether or not the medicines were causing the soreness. Do you know if my medications could be causing these symptoms?
