What Causes Pain In The Crease Of The Arm?

I have factor V and i have had 4 PE s and had some superficial clots in my arm. I now have pain in the crease of my arm and i can t even straighten my arm. My pulse is ok, circulation not good because my hand is freezing. However, i am not sure if this is a small clot or just muscular? There is little swelling nothing like before but it is in a different place.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you have been diagnosed with Factor V Leiden deficiency and have a history of 4 pulmonary embolisms, I would urge you to visit your nearest emergency care centre as your symptoms could be from a clot in your arm. The coldness of your arm and the pain are suggestive of the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
