hello my mother is 81 she has buttocks pain it has been in both sides currently on one side her doctor has used cortizone which helped but will not again she is in pain and sitting is a problem are their any other affective treatments or some other medication that can be injected? YYYY@YYYY
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like sciatica.
