Dear friend, I have gone through your question.. Cervical radiculopathy causes pain in the arms. Cervical radiculopathy occurs when the nerves which emerge from the spinal cord at the level of cervical region(neck) gets compressed by some reasons. Compression can be due to cervical vertebral osteophytes( age related bony spurs which occur as part of remodeling of bones), can be due to some prolapsed inter vertebral discs at this region, it can also be due abnormal ribs(cervical ribs) compressing the nerves or other swellings in neck region. The set of nerves which supply our upper limbs emerge from neck region as brachial plexus. If any particular nerve is getting compressed at the neck level, the area of the upper limb supplied by that nerve will have pain and tingling sensation. There can be associated weakness as well. So you have to consult a neurologist and assessed clinically to find the exact nerve root being compressed. You may have to undergo further investigations as prescribed by your neurologist like a MRI of cervical spine. Physiotherapy and neck collars help in reducing the symptoms. But first of all you have to find the cause for radiculopathy. Thank you.
