What Causes Pain In The Arm And Neck After Of A Pacemaker?

I had a pacemaker placed a year ago. Since then I ve had constant ache around the incision, under my arm and up my neck to behind my ear. My doctor said it was just part of the nerves healing. Is this normal? How long does it take for nerves to heal? Thank you for your time.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, nerve healing must have already taken place with in a year's time.

Other causes of nerve irritation or something else have to be sorted out for final management guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
