Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain the symptoms of cough and congestion along with swollen gland and pain in ear as well as sore throat are all due to viral throat infection along with supersceded bacterial infection..
The pain in ear is due to extension of infection from throat to ear due to a direct connection between the two via Eustachian tube..
I would suggest you to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use Xylometazoline nasal sprays..
Antibiotic ear drops like Gentamycin can be used to clear off ear infection.
DO warm compresses over swollen lymph nodes..
In case of no improvement in a week consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
