Hello,
Pain in the legs and back commonly occur due to
dehydration, fatigue, sodium -potassium depletion, low glucose or low BP, anxiety, stressful lifestyle, etc. Medical conditions that may manifest such symptoms are
slipped disc, trauma, over -exertion, developing sciatica,
peripheral neuropathy, etc. You are suggested to take rest and stay well hydrated. Take warm beverage, soups and juice. Take food rich in protein and cereals. Take fruits and veggies.
To ease pain you can take
acetaminophen or Combiflam, one SOS after food. Take adequate sleep. Lack of sleep causes fatigue and body ache. You can apply pain relieving ointments or sprays (Volini), gentle massage may be helpful. Take food rich in vitamin B6, B12,
Vitamin E or supplements. You should visit a GP and get a complete health check up done. You may be recommended to get blood, urine and imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing you discomfort.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
