Hi, hoping someone could maybe answer something for me. I am a 40 ur old female who was diagnosed about 10 hrs ago with barrettes esophagus, & a hiatal hernia. I lost 97 lbs about 6 or 7 hrs ago & over the yrs have put about ten lbs a year bk on. When I lost the weight, I had little to no symbols. Since the return of the weight I have had more problems & recently. Had a much needed endoscopy & colonoscopy. Had a dilation of my esophagus & removal of 3 poloyps. Cancer free. No mention of hiatal hernia in report. I have had on going pain in right side of stomach area just below rib. Pain in back & shoulder blade. In addition to this test had a kidney ultrasound. Found nothing for all three tests. What could this pain be from? Also should note I have had my gallbladder removed at 26 yrs of age. Could it be hiatal hernia?
