What Causes Pain In Right Lung And Abdomen After Upper Endoscopy?

I recently had an Upper Endoscopy and the nurse told me that I would have a scratchy throat afterwards. I did but it had went away. I noticed some pain in my right lung area and abdomen. When I breath I feel the pain. Is it normal to feel this afterwards?

Welcome to health care magic.

1.Its possible to have a muscle pain after discomfort position during the procedure.
2.The injury at the time of the procedure could be another possible cause.
3.generalised discomfort post procedure are normal, but any severe pain or discomfort needs medical assistance.
4.As there could be some injury to the oesophagus, see the treating doctor as soon as possible.
5.In minimal pain and discomfort you can take anti inflammatory medication of couple of days.

Good luck.
