What Causes Pain In Right Groin And Indigestion While On Progesterone And Estrogen?

I am a experiencing a twinging intermittent pain in my lower right groin area. It has been consistent in intensity for the past three days. I feel it every few hours, it does not seem to be activity related as I feel it laying down at night. It is not a severe pain but a bit of a twisting pain that lasts about 20 seconds.I have not had diarrhea, but did begin with indigestion. I am 59 and post menopausal. Only prescriptions I take are progesterone and estrogen, which I have taken for over a year with no complications. Any ideas??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Ma'am,
Your symptoms donot seem to be related to your current medications ie estrogen and progesterone. However, I would like to know whether you have experienced any discomfort during urination or any swelling in the area of the groin to rule out - urinary colic or femoral hernia respectively.
Regards,
Dr Geeta
