Hi, Any cough, persisting more than 3 weeks, needs to be evaluated by a Doctor..If you have a small wound inside cheek, it might be due to aphthous ulcer or some form of mucositis. In addition, you may also have your tonsils infected..I suggest you to consult an ENT as well as a pulmonologist.( Lung Specialist) Cough for 3 months, is something which has to be given due importance.Take care

My daughter (17) is on day 5 of feeling bad. Started out with what seemed like a head cold....stuffy, slightly sore throat, cough. Progressively gotten worse....currently running a very low grade fever, nausea, has been having some diarrhea, slightly sore throat, very stuffy, congested, body aches and pains, and today a new symptom, her calves are terribly sore. In fact when she stood first thing this morning, she fell to the floor they hurt so much. She has been scooting or crawling to get to the restroom, but mostly only been able to lay in bed all day. Not sure this is some common ailment, or if I should take her to see a doctor.
I have had flu like symptoms for nearly 12 months. I cough up phlem morning and night. My taste and smell disappear completely quite regularly, I also suffer from headaches and severe bouts of tiredness. When at altitude my face and ears are pressured and cause pain. My GP thinks I might have a post nasal drip problem and possible blocked sinus. What do you think I should do?
