What Causes Pain In Nose Post Application Of Bactroban Ointment?
I started using bactroban oint in my nose on 1/12/16 for possible staph infection. Now my nose is extremely painful.it even hurts to swallow. When I blow my nose not much mucous comes out, but small blood clots. Roof of my mouth is red and very sore. I can sometimes taste blood draining in the back of my throat. Do you think this is an allergic reaction or thrush. I have also been on 2 po antibiotics and is currently on clindamycin.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is not the infection of any kind then it should not be treated with any anti- biotic or anti-fungal, saline nasal spray can be used for good result and oral anti-histamine can be used like Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day hope this information helps.
