What Causes Pain In Leg And Arm While Suffering From DVT?

I have had a LARGE DVT in the past (2 yrs ago) no explanation as to why. After Coumadin was started , DVT grew , did 100+ rounds of lovenox, had 6 ultrasounds last year, all showed no more clots. For the past 3 days I have had leg pain, but more importantly have had sharp, quick pains on 2 places of my arm, my DVT leg, lower belly, one spot on my chrst, and now a spot on the back/lung area. Could this be the results of a PE? Pleas 3.0 INR last week (2-3 recommended). Suggestions? Current HR 102-104, 20 Resp/min.

hi,

thank you for providing the brief history of you.

since you mentioned you have this DVT issue, you need to meet up the vascular surgeon, cardiologist, pulmonogist.

you should undergo a heart scan and a pulmonary function test to rule out any possible tissue damage.

as you mentioned about DVT and pain, let's focus on the same. having discussion with your vascular surgeon, cardiologist and pulnonologist about taking a physcial therapy for your pain.

physical therapy is a non invasive therapy which in the scientific.approach for the human body to recover.

dipping the leg in hot water and later doing ankle toe movements will help reduce swelling and doing straight leg raise, will also add on some strength in the leg muscles.

don't be DVT is deep vein thrombosis, it is good to perform regular guided exercise for the same.

maintenance of general body reconditioning will be of utmost help in improving the metabolism and immune system.

I have seen certain cases with DVT and a balanced diet,.medicine, exercise, breathing exercises, etc have made a big difference in their pain issues.

with the me.of God I wish you a speedy recovery.
