What Causes Pain In Knee?

My 6 year old daughter was running around at school yesterday and says her knee started hurting. She now can't straighten the leg without pain, but it does not hurt her for me to touch the knee, or to walk on it as long as it's bent. She also says it hurts if she completely fold up her legs to her chest. She maintains she didn't twist or bang her knee or fall over. Any ideas?

You should reconfirm about the history of fall or trauma. This symptoms can be associated with ligament injury. I think if this symptoms persist it is better to visit a orthopaedician for detail examination of the knee joint.
