What Causes Pain In Hands And Fatigue?

For a year my daughter has felt tired and like she has been hit by a baseball bat. Her blood tests indicate a low white blood cell count. Her hands have pain and she cannot make a fist. She is seeing a RA doctor. What do you think she has. They have mentioned auto immune disease, but which one fits this scenario?
