What Causes Pain In Elbow, Tingling In Hand After Ulnar Nerve Decompression Surgery?

I had ulnar nerve decompression surgery at the end of January. After getting the OK to return to normal activities the pain in my elbow and tingling in my hand have returned and are as intense as prior to surgery. My doctor has prescribed a low dose (100 mg) of gabapentin taken at bedtime. I am concerned about side effects, withdrawl from the drug, and whether it will actually help. The other option he gave was anti-depressants. Will I be living with this pain from now on? I am considering trying acupuncture.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, with some functional elements pain may be more intense so better try to come out of the stress, instead of looking for some other option for relieving pain, because that wont work too, hope this information helps, take care.
