What Causes Pain In Chest Radiating To Back And Shoulders While On Lexapro?
I have been taking lexapro for a few months now and from the beginning on 10 mg I had chest pain that seems to go through the same part in my back and sore neck and shoulders. I am now on 20 mg and it still hasn t subsided. Shoukd I check with my doctor and have him change my med?
The tightness of the chest is a symptom associated with Lexapro. I would say that if you think these problem pains are related to Lexapro you should report them to your doctor who may want to change your medication. The pain may not be related to Lexapro but the doctor can't determine that if he doesn't know about it. And, you don't want to let chest pains go without reporting them to your doctor for further assessment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
