What Causes Pain In Bowel After Bowel Surgery?

On April 14 I had a hysterectomy followed by bowel surgery due to blood clot and major infection. I can not get rid of the pain in my bowels. I am eating right and drinking lots of water. My bowels are working fine but I still can not sleep due to pain

Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
IN the given situation, You seems to suffer from-Ileus with pains in abdomen.
You need to go slow on solid intake and be more on liquids and semi-liquids initially, to reduce on the stress of digestion to recovering bowels.
This would reduce the ileus from functional paralysis from overloading of food in your case, with accompanied bloating causing crampy abdominal pain.
Iv Fluid supplements for 2-3 days and keeping low on oral feeding, would resolve the problem soon.
Consults with Surgeon and ruling out other causes of pain in bowel after bowel surgery.
