What Causes Pain In Abdomen Before Dinner?

My 22 yr old SS genotype son gets stomach ache every evening before dinner and I have tried giving him Gellucil tabs to chew, did not work, also gave him Mist mag, not also working , taking him to hospital, and thereafter treated him forb thyphoid, this also did not work, what do you think the problem may be ?

Hello,

Sickle cell anemia may cause vascular occlusive crisis which may lead to pain abdomen or bone pain. Whenever the blood vessels occluded then he may get pain.

You have to treat with blood transfusion, plenty of liquid diet or IV fluids with antibiotics may useful.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
