General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Shortness of breath and heart palpitations may be due to different possible causes such as heart disease, thyroid disease, anemia, lung disease and anxiety.

The dizziness/lightheaded feeling would occur as a result of the shortness of breath/palpitations.

Anxiety is only considered if other tests are not significantly abnormal.

The echo/ultrasound would have looked at the function of the heart and the monitor would have assessed the rate and rhythm of the heart beat.
If these did not show any significant damage/ change then the heart is functioning well.

Blood tests can be done to rule out anemia and thyroid disease and an x ray of the chest would check the lung.
If these are normal, then it is possible that the symptoms may be related to stress/anxiety.

This would need treatment.

I hope this helps
