Your son seems to suffer from-UTI post ureteritis in post-operative period.The ureteritis-from appendicitis in proximity, is expressed more with dehydration and stress leading to acidic urine. Other causes -as operative trauma to ureter/ or extended infection of appendicitis to ureter in proximity, needs to be ruled by proper investigations with the attending / operating Surgeon, who is the right doctor to be contacted in this case. Remedy The burning in urination with tears, indicates- following do s IN the given scenario, I would suggest you- Consult Surgeon and Urologist-Get USG abdomen for accompanied ureteric stone / and or remaining pocket of abscess around the bladder and ureter,causing cystitis/ ureteritis. Urinalysis with blood counts would fix the plan of treatment. Plenty of Fluids Antibiotics-Tab Ciplox -250 mg x 2 times a day Tab- Pyridium-1 x 3 times a day x for 10 days -urinary aneasthetic/analgesic. Alkalization of Urine-Alkaline mist. Thus the problem of painful urination could be solved. Get Second opinion with Surgeon and Urologist after USG testes and Color doppler to rule out other causes as discussed above.
