What Causes Pain During Ejaculation?

Pain / discomfort during ejaculation I am a 35yo, in March I noticed a short sharp pins and needles feeling behind the belly button region during the end of intercourse. Sometimes I also get ingestion and heartburn symptoms as well. I have seen my gp who checked my prostate and said everything is ok, however it is very uncomfortable at times. I am soon to have a gastroscopy to address some gut complaints. Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi,

Feeling of short sharp pins and needles behind belly button during the end of intercourse indicate that there may be some muscular reason and also can occur in case of a small umbilical hernia.
Since you have problems related to the gastrointestinal system this too can be the reason due to some inflammatory lesion like umbilical granuloma or diverticulitis that is stuck stuck behind umbilical region.
Since your Doctor has said that the prostate is normal the issue lust be investigated further.
Get a consultation of a General Surgeon so that a clinical actual examination and relevant investigations like CT scan of abdomen can help further to know the cause to get a plan of management.
