What Causes Pain Between The Shoulder Blades?

I have been experiencing a steady dull pain between my shoulder blades in my back for about a week. I have taken Ibropruen for the pain and it may help a little but it just stays constant. I sit all day on my job and am pretty sedentary at home in the evenings. Just don t know what to do to help with this problem.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to overexertion or sprain.

For that, as you already took tab. ibuprofen. Apply diclofenac gel. Use heat pads.

Do regular exercise. If not getting relief, do x-ray back after orthopedician consultation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
