What Causes Pain Below Sternum Despite Taking Mylanta And Antacids For Gastritis?

I have pain below the sternum HR is normal. have taken mylanta and antiacid meds and drank coke which has always helped relieve it by causing me to burp.. I have no cardiac history and a stress test several years ago was normal. what can this be besides gas???
