What Causes Pain Below Belly Button, Vomiting And No Urge For Bowel Movements?

For the past 4 hours my husband has had severe pain just below his belly button that resonates to his back. The pain does not change in any way. He has been vomitting and has no urge of bowel movements. He tried an edema, but nothing came of it. Should we seek emergency care?

Hello,

As the amount of pain is substantial, you should take him to the emergency room for further management in form of analgesic injection, intravenous fluids, and diagnosis with x-ray evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
