General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

You had injury in back of your head resulting in swelling and pain, and i hope there was no vertigo, vomiting, seizures, loss of conciousness, Ear nose and throat bleed, & blurred vision after that.

If you have any of these issues any time after the injury then you should immediately visit the ER as soon as possible and get a CT / MRI Scan of head.

If you are only having pain and swelling right now then i will suggest you to take some NSAID's and apply some ice packs over the injured area. This will reduce the swelling and pain.

wish you good health.
Thanks & Regards
Dr. Shiv
