What Causes Pain Around The Vagina During Pregnancy?

I am in 5 months pregnancy now. Recently I feel pain at the external part of my vaginal. The pain will happen when I start walking after I sat down for about half an hour. I need to massage the external vaginal and walk for few minutes to relief the pain. May I know why this pain will happen to me? Thank you.

Hi, the pain in external part of vagina is generally due to the calcium deficiency in pregnancy. You can take some calcium supplements of 1000 mg per day. You can also take vitamin Dr supplements. Take 2 glasses of milk per day. These will help you in relief of the pain. If pain is severe, you can take paracetamol occasionally. Hope it helps.
