Hello,
I had gone through your question and understand your concern. I really appreciate your positive outlook for your health.

I would like to tell you that there are few possibilities like umbilical hernia or umbilical granuloma or just simple muscular pain. Because your pain is not that severe and it aggravates during pushing, chances of appendix are very very rare.

I would like to probe you few questions like whether pain is relieved by muscle relaxant or not, whether its associated with any discharge or swelling or redness, whether you are taking any kind of long term medications or not.

I would suggest you to rest for few days and not to do heavy exercises, take muscle relaxants like dicyclomine, take plenty of fluids. Sometimes it can be due to heavy abs workout, so it will pass away soon, but, if the problem persists for long, then i would advise you to get examined yourself by a surgeon. Do ultrasound abdomen after consulting a surgeon.

Hope this answers your question and let me know directly if you have any further relevant questions.
