What Causes Pain And Tenderness Around The Throat?
Hi. Last night around 10pm after I got off the phone the outside of my throat was tender. It is where my adams apple would be if I were a man. Its tender to touch. Hurts on the outside around that area when I swallow but no pain internally in my throat. What could this be? Can I take anything to help??
It could be simple throat infection. I would suggest you following things: > Take levocetirizine one at night for 3 days. > Take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt in it. Perform gargles (mouth wash) with it three times a day for at least 3 days. It will give soothing effect.
AVOID: > Chilled water > Drinks > Spicy food
