What Causes Pain And Swelling On Hand?

I have pain in my left hand on top in the center (not the knuckles). The skin is swollen and there appears to be a detailed round circle, you can see the outline (similar to a mosquito bite), but not red. I cannot lift weight. There is no broken or open skin.

After going through your query I concluded that you are having swelling in your hand. You may be having cellulitis . Treatment of it elevation of hand and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief.
