What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Vagina After Insertion Of Gyno-Travogen?

Hi yesterday I was having mild discharge,i went to see the doctor about my problem,he said it was a mild yeast vaginal infection,he gave a gyno-travogen ovule for 1night,but my problem is maybe 1 hour later to be inserted my vaginal got intense pain like burning pain feeling and swollen....is it normal that reaction,and how long the effect....thanks

Hello, Normally on insertion of the ovule there is unlikely to be any irritation, burning pain and swelling. If these symptoms are noticed it is better to consult the doctor immediately. It could be an allergic reaction to the compound. Usage must be stopped and doctor to be consulted. Doctor may recommend alternate treatment. Thanks.
