Hi,

Swelling and warmth in hands may be due to venous drainage block seen in cephalic or baselic vein thrombosis or axillary vein thrombosis. It may be due to neuropthy or lymphatic blockage or infection or cardiac or renal failure, etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Get it done MRI spine, nerve conduction study, color Dopplor and cardiac and renal function tests. Elevate the limbs, use cold and warm compression, if necessary use painkiller medication. Symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
