General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to soft tissue infection and inflammation that produce the swelling, gout, joint effusion.
I advice you to consult the physicain and undergo examination, routine blood test with uric acid.
Doctor will give following treatment
Proper rest
anti inflammatory painkiller like Acelofan-SP,
topical application of steroid plus antiseptic ointment like betadine
Soak injured part in warm water with added vinegar to reduce the swelling
Other treatment will depend on the specific cause

Hope this may help you
Best regards
