What Causes Pain And Retraction Of Penis During Intercourse?

I am an uncircumcised male and while I was beginning to have intercourse, my foreskin, which has never been able to retract over the glans, got retracted all the way back. It was in pain at first, but I am wondering if there is any need for concern or not. I am just having mild discomfort but it has only been about 10 minutes. My penis is not erect and I am able to move the foreskin back above the glans, but it retracts about halfway down.

Hello and welcome.

No cause for concern, but you can help yourself by performing a few regular exercises at home. Pull your foreskin as much as possible, for 5-10 minutes a few times each day. Along with this, you can use a lubricant over the region like a petroleum jelly which will avoid the cracking of the frenulum. You should be able to retract it completely in a while. But if you cannot, and if it continues to pain while having intercourse then frenuloplasty and circumcision are good options to consider.

Best wishes.
