What Causes Pain And Redness In The Upper Back?

I have had severe pain in my back (upper right) for two weeks now. I was prescribed Oxycodone and Flexural in hopes it would go away. I went to the hospital last sunday and they ran a CT scan that came up negative, blood and urine tests also came up negative. In te past two days parts of my upper body have turned a red color that doesn t itch or hurt. Thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
It's most probably an infection which could have flared up on certain conditions like moisture or sweat. I would suggest you to use soframycin which is a tropical antiseptic and also you should take cetrizine for a week and you'll be alright by the end of the course.
God bless you

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
