What Causes Pain And Pressure In Head?

this morning around 3am I woke with the worst headace Ive ever had it feels like it starts at the base of my skull in the upper part of my neck on the left side an goes across the left side of my head it feels like there is a lot of pressure as it travel up my head its ends up with feeling pain amd pressure behind my eye
