What Causes Pain And Numbness On The Side Of The Neck And Throat?

3weeks ago I had mediastinoscopy biopsy & bronchoscopy at same time , still having pain, burning, numbness in right side of neck, front of throat & top of chest, the right side tendon or ligament was strained & sticks out from front of collarbone to just in front of ear & jaw, pain is unbearable, also kinda scary. So are there any physical restrictions & if so ,,,for how long? This pain & etc. ,,,,how long before it s gone?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Bronchoscopy and mediastinoscopy should not cause this problem.
Endoscopic surgeries are done to avoid such complications.
I would advise you to consult your operating surgeon and get the things checked,
Get CT scan of the neck and chest to see if there is any complications and if yes, get treated well, you will be fine.
