Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Over the past week I have had pain in my neck, numbness at end of hands, headache that I cant shift with taking pills etc, and worst of all when I first get up in the morning can not walk straight and run into things though not meaning to, feeling nauseous but not being sick.
I think there may be a pinched nerve issue. Spondylitis, spondyloarthritis or a bulking disc of the cervical cord may be the cause.
You should do a cervical X-ray and maybe an MRI. The treatment is based on pain relievers and oral corticosteroids and may be corticosteroid injections.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
