i landed on a tree stump jumping a fence 12 days ago, and the pain is severe and hasnt stopped. my doctor had me get x-rays and said that there wasnt a break. but i cant put any weight on my ankle at all, any wieght and my entire foot goes numb. i read to go to doctor immediarly if you have numbness in toes and thats exactly what i have, last night i scratched the top of my foot on accient and it hurt llike hell for lik 3 hours and left a huge red mark -deep red. i feel my doctor is not taking me serious at all it ok her five days to even prescribe any pain medication. my toes are swollen and numb and my entire foot is black. its been 12 days and i cant put any preasure on this at all! id like to go see a specialist but i need a referal from my primry care physician and they are not helping at all. what should i do??

Hello, Thanks for your query. It might be soft tissue injury or fracture. Without X-ray, it is difficult to differentiate a fracture from others. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.
