I'm a 37 year old male and have been it relatively god health. About a month ago I developed a slight pain at the tip of my urethra with occasional sting/ burn AFTER urinating. The burn was not very painful or present during urination. In addition, it seemed as though my urethra/penis seemed very sensitive. These symptoms developed the following day after I had protected sex but the condom ended up breaking. I went to a doctor about one week after and the physician suspected it may be prostitis as I had developed similiar issue almost 3 yrs ago after sex with my girlfriend at the time. The physician put me on cipro for 10 days and subsequently referred me to a urologist who took a urine sample about a week ago. I have not receive the results from the urine sample yet but assume nothing abnormal was found since I have not been contacted. However, since then I still feel I have a slight pain in the tip of my urethra and a slight itch. The itch is not real bad or severe and I don't have to scratch although the tip seems unusually sensitive and if I have an erection there seems to be a slight bit of pain at the tip. Any idea what this may be or what is causing this slight pain and irritation?
