What Causes Pain And Fluid Retention On The Hands While On Citalopram?

Hi hi my husband taking citalopram and due to a recent back problem is taking citalopram 30 mg Codeine paracetamol and ibruprofin every 6 hours on direction of gp. Has started with what looks like fluid retention in top of hands bear wrists and back of legs.he says very painful . Is this cause for concern

Yes, that is a cause for concern. Should report this to his caring doctor. Immediate investigations are required to determine the right diagnosis.

I think it might be related to back problem he has been recently experiencing. However needs further investigation.
