causes of foot pain and edema (subject can t walk), no apparent broken bones or fractures, subject was bitten by a turtle (he thinks) between the toes last Fall, no blood tests were ordered. No skin breaks. Every time a doc pushes his foot in an examine, the pain starts all over again for a few weeks.

I will recommend the MRI foot to know the exact etiology. I do not think it is due to turtle bite. Till MRI he can take tablet diclofenac plus serratiopeptidase drug two times.
