What causes pain and burning sensation around the pelvic area?

I have been having burning, itching, prickly feeling in and around my pelvic area especially where my legs and torso join. Lately, I have been noticing pain on the left side of my pelvis. My Dr. has been treating me for a yeast infection but it has not been solved. I had a hysterectomy in 2013 because of Uterine cancer. I am not sexually active and am 60 years old.

I have mild throbbing pain that comes and goes in my pelvis on the left leading to my genital area. It usually comes when I feel like I have to go to the bathroom, and it goes away after I urinate. I m not sure if it is a uti or related to my constipation that I experience. I don t have any burning sensations or discolored urine or strange smells though. It just comes and goes throughout my day.

Hi my name is Diane. I suffer from severe burning pain from my pelvis area down through my legs and even the bottom of my doctor has said that it is nerve pain. Any idea of what this may be called other than nerve pain? Thanks, your advice is much appreciated
