What Causes Pain Above Navel With Abdominal Bloating?

I have had a pain on the left side just above my belly button x 2 days now. Stomach is bloated and feels very full as if I over ate. The pain started off as an occasional discomfort and now is a sharp ache ( but I am still functional) I am in pain and uncomfortable but not so much that it is stopping me from going to work

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Bloating can be associated with abdominal pain.

There are different possible causes , some are constipation, reflux, food intolerance, lactose intolerance, use of gas producing foods.

Using medications such as reflux medication may help even if related to another cause but if there is no improvement then you should be seen.

Eg of reflux medication include nexium, prevacid, protonix, prilosec

If you have a history of constipation then using fiber and fluids would help.

I hope this helps
